Saturday, April 19, 2008:  The Writers Block (TWB) has introduced a range of new corporate trainings, to support the growing technical communication training needs of large businesses, which need a high degree of information reuse. TWB's new offering includes training in concepts and implementation methodologies for XML; concepts and use of SGML; XMetaL Author Enterprise - used by authors to create valid XML content using DITA or other XML architectures; and use of Structured FrameMaker and moving from unstructured to structured documentation.
TWB training portfolio is designed to help companies enhance the return on investment through effective technical communication and information design. The new set of offering from TWB is targeted at the corporate customer looking to enhance their information management capability effectively. This set of training is particularly relevant to the aviation, aerospace, shipping, automotive and heavy engineering sectors.

Speaking at the launch of new training programs, Rakesh Shukla, chief executive officer, TWB said, "Companies in technology critical businesses like aerospace, defense, shipping, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals have acute information management needs, which need to cater to the demand for retrievable, archive-able, reference-able information systems irrespective of business or time cycles. The TWB offering will support companies looking to enhance their information management capability. It is also a very uncommon offering in terms of training and TWB is one of the very few organizations focused on this area. We are proud to create a precedent of international standards and excellence in this domain."

TWB already offers over a two dozen corporate training options using the classroom, online and blended learning methods. TWB delivers customized technical communications programs to suit trainee expertise standards and scheduling requirements.
